Our dear friend Gill Bredl visited children in Les Cayes, Haiti a little while back to see for herself the amazing work Ten18 international does that her inspiring social enterprise www.charitytea.co.nz supports. She has a vision to see “abundant life for all” and focuses on the provision of food, clothes and love to those in need.
We love collaborating with charities, organisations and groups like Gill’s and our dream at Colour Our Story is to lovingly create opportunities that inspire and empower a new generation of caring, curious global citizens. Drawing, writing and colouring in each other’s stories, sent across borders and oceans.

“We decide to partner with Colour Our Story as a tool to hear from the children. We wanted to give them a voice and learn more about what they loved about Haiti. We also wanted to build their self-esteem by helping them to create something they could be proud of. ”
Young creatives from all around the world will also get to know their stories and take part in creative exchanges with them.
Soon we hope to send a creative pack to these kids filled with all the books from our global colouring books collection as well as copies of their own Haiti books of course and donations of new or preloved (plastic free) colouring pencils and art supplies.
